Last sunday had a Potluck Birthday Party.
It turned out great and there tons of foods~!!

Lets see, I will start from the beginning of the day.
I woke up early and packed all my laptop stuff then head to Patricia's house.
When I reached there, all of them haven't wake up as JJ, Xiang and Kok Wei stayed over last night!

Waited quite a bit then I dragged Kok Wei and Patricia to buy some grocery for cooking.
And guess what, FIRST TIME I drove in Melbourne.
Been a while since I last drove car and I really miss it. >.<

Well, spent quite alot for the grocery and I didnt expect it.
It was like $150 for the whole grocery item including pork. *GASP*
Money down the drain already, time to earn back all those money.

Then started cooking around 1 something.
It took quite long process to cook all the foods.

O ya, forgot to mention the food that I cooked.
I cooked BuBurChaCha, Fruit Rojak, Belachan Fried Rice and BBQ Pork.
Managed to finish all those food at 6 something.
In between I did slack abit by playing DoTa with Kok Wei.

Okay, guess I talked abit too much here.

I really had a great night with them and is really fun playing games.
I wasn't drunk as they planned to kill me but unsuccessful. Phew!

Then what did i did for my birthday!? Hmm!
Well, play badminton in the afternoon and had dinner with Nelson and KayTze.
I asked Shireen and KarYee to come but they were busy with assignments so didn't drag them along.
Then at night was suppose to go drinking with college mates but in the end, they didn't give me a call.
So I stayed at home and rot!

Men, I can't wait for tomorrow as I'm holding a potluck party inconjuction of my birthday.
And I will be cooking tons of foods.

Hey people.
It's been a while since I last update my blog.
It was completely dead.

Now I'm back again. x)
As you guys can see, I changed the skins and hope it nicer compare to last one.

Since I didnt update since July, I guess I should start write about that time.
Probably summary of them as if I would write the whole thing, can never end. LOL!

Lets see!
On July, had a farewell party at Sawasdee for Ai Lynn as she going to Korea for a year for studies.

Then Joanne came down to Melbourne.
I met up with her and bring her around to eat good foods.
She came down with Kelly and we had fun chatting around.

Then on August, I went Mt. Buller for ski-ing with Monash group.
I had a nice day up there although I didn't get to sleep the whole night. >.<

Late August, KarYee had house warming on her new house.
AikSern and I went there after our badminton.
The night was great as we laughed, talked and get to see funny things.

I stayed over to help to clean up as I pity her mum that she need to clean up everything the next day.
Her mum did ask me to stay over since it quite late to travel back to city and help her to clean up.

This month, September, celebrate Ton and Season's birthday last two week.
There's when I doesnt have my voice for few days.

Last Saturday, Rick, Kirk and I help out our Chef, Alan Woo for his short course class, Asian Noodles.
Shin Yin tag along as she wants to learn also.
It was really fun teaching aunties how to cook asian foods and guess what, all the aunties like me. >.<

Now, I just finish first term of semester two. Wohoo!!
I been really busy with schedule that packed of work, classes and assignments.
Which there few sleepless nights, where I have to stay up and finish off assignments.

Yesterday was a bad night.
I argued with few work colleagues. I was just doing my worker duty. Is that wrong? I just tell the manager that the waitperson didn't open up the box properly when they threw the rubbish after packing up. Then the manager went and screw them about it. After that, they came down to the kitchen and scold me what did I complain to the manager and they claimed they opened up the boxes. As I can see from the bin when I throwing rubbish, there still few chunk of boxes in the bin. It makes me difficult to throw the rubbish and manager did tell me to tell him if there any big chunk of boxes in the bin. I was just telling the manager about it and it doesnt happen once but few times already.
The waitperson don't feel happy about me complaining about it.

"I just don't get it. Everything I do or say, is always wrong on people's eye. There won't have right thing for me. Is better for me to keep silent or just being dumb!"
It just my rant from last night!
Hope today is a better day as I'm off for the day. x)
Was suppose to go Tulip farm but then nobody I know is going as they are busy with their assignments.
Tonight going back to Sawasdee as they holding a birthday party for me.
Now is less than 24 hours for 20092009!
What a nice date for my birthday! Wee!! x)

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

So long haven't touch my blog already. >.<
Almost a month.
Gosh! I must be very lazy or busy working.
Anyway time to update.
Nothing much happen beside work work workkk~!!

Talk about work.
Last last saturday, our workplace had Cheryl farewell party and Fei Chai's birthday.
We had game and drinking session. XD
We all drink quite a lot and most of people was drunk but I'm not.
Was able to control myself not to drink too much. >.<
There's alot of pictures and videos.
Sadly I only can upload some pictures only because the others are not allowed to be post.

That night was so fun and all.
We had a good laughter for the night.
Most people went back around 8 in the morning including me. Haha!

That's the most happening night for last month.

Beside that, work work work the whole 2 weeks. >.<

O and I spent like $500 plus for jackets, jeans, bedsheets and quilt.
WOhooo~! I'm brokee~! (:

Then last saturday, I took off to help Kar Yee move house.
Reached there the earliest then others came later.
We all started at like 12 something then end like 4 something then we go grab something to eat.
After that, around 5 something all of us went back.
Then had dinner with Aik Sern, Yee Yean and Michelle.
Had a good chat with them altho I just met Aik Sern and Michelle.
We like friends for long period. Haha! (:
Had a tiring and great day.
Slept quite early at 10.30pm.
Couldn't even open my eyes.

Then Monday morning wake up to go clean my workplace's kitchen.
Spent like hours to clean wei.
Then I decided to take off at night as I was too tired. >.<
Went back around 6 something and rest.
After that, have dinner with my housemate and his gf. (:

This week I don't work that much as I off from work for Tues and today.

Last night had steamboat with Tom, Johnathan and Jane at home.
Damn filling and yummy~!! ((:

Tonight going have steamboat again at my work colleague place.
And watch Transformer 2.
Woooo, can't wait for tonight... ((:

Good morning everyone~!
I'm back to update my blog.
Sorry for the late update.
I was busy with work and class. >.<

Okayy, Lets see what been happening for past few weeks.
I shall start with the latest this time. (:

Hmm.
I had finance test last Tuesday and it's pretty easy.
So can get A I hope.
Now I only left like assignments and presentation.
Then I'm done for my semester.
My holidays will start on 19 June.
So guys, book me fast before I get packed with work. (:

O ya, I said I will update about Kar Yee's Birthday.
I start planning suprise for her like 3 weeks before.
Ya, I know is early but then I scare other people will be busy.
So must as well book people on that day. Haha.
I got help from her sister and Shireen.
The suprise went quite good and successful.
I baked a Chocolate cake with Chocolate Bavarios.

At first we scared that the suprise won't work as her sister said that she not sure whether Kar Yee will be at home at night.
After like few times changing the plan and unsure, Shireen told me that Yee Yean told Kar Yee that he will be meeting her at 6.
So I thought of new plan and planned to go her house before 6 with Shireen and Yee Yean.
I scared my cake won't work as I'm not sure the chocolate bavarios will set. >.<
I finished the decorations just before Shireen came to my house.
After finishing last deco on the cake, we waited for Yee Yean to come to city.
Then we head to her place.
During that time, Yee Yean and Shireen keep on 'debating'.
It's so funny to see both of them trying to tease each other.
Upon reaching the station, I messaged Carmen to come down saying she need to pass something to friend. xP
Meanwhile that time, Kar Yee msged Yee Yean where is him.
We like being evil, asked Yee Yean to reply that he couldn't make it due to alot of asssignments. Hoho!
Then later on, we go up the lift after Carmen come down with a piece of paper. Haha!
We standing outside the lift trying to light up the candle and write the cake.
We were basically blocking the lift and people was laughing when they see us. >.<
Then Carmen and Yee Yean go in first so the cake will go in last.
After they go in, Shireen and I went in with the cake as the door wasn't locked.
Kar Yee was suprised seeing us and we sang Happy Birthday along the way.

Go find some ATM since Kar Yee didn't want to tell me where. =.=

After coming out from the lift, Kar Yee said, "He must be thinking that I bring to two guys back in the middle of the night."
We burst out laughing.

We talked about our past and all.

Her mom even said I look familiar.
World could be small and I probably know her mom somewhere but I couldn't remember.
Maybe my mom know her mom. Haha!

Around 11pm, Yee Yean and I decided to go back home.
We talked along the way back.

Then reached Flinders St Station and wait with him for his train to come.

After that, I went back home since I live in the city.
Overall, it's was a successful and happening night.
I hope everybody had a great time especially the birthday girl. (:

Okayyyy. Now about my godsister's birthday.
I also baked a cake for her.
Her cake is Chocolate Orange Torte.

It was my first time doing the cake and it turned out nice.
Everybody liked it and I'm glad my baking improved.
One day before her birthday, Penny came to my house to help to bake the cake.
She was sick, so she didn't really help but she did help to put CHILLI powder on her muffin.
We decided to prank her with the small muffin tho.
HAHA!
After work, we got some crab supper then we start to celebrate her birthday.
Then after eating and taking pictures, everybody sit down to play Chinese Royale and drink.
It was fun that night but I didn't get drunk.
That's cool right. (:
I reduced my drinking alot already. >.<

Yawn!
So bloody tired.
Now I'm awake to get ready to work.
Here I am to update my blog before I head to work.
Supposed to update last night but I was too tired.

Les's see what been happening for the past one week.
So far I think only 3 events that's happening.

Let me start of with Kok Wei's house drinking session.
It was on last friday.
After work, I went back home and shower then head to his house.
Jun Jie, Xiang and Patricia were there already.
Well, they said want to have drinking session but in the end didn't work out.
LOL!
I also didn't drink and just sitting down playing psp since there nothing to do.
We catched up with each other since everybody was busy for the past few weeks. (:
Then later on, we all feel hungry at 4 in the morning so we decided to go makan.
We were thinking what places are still open tat night.
End up, we went to Chinabar to eat.
As I know, the food standard had went down. Tsk Tsk.
After eating, we went back to Kok Wei's house.
We only slept around 6 in morning and woke up at 3pm. =.=
And I have to work at 5pm. -.-

Another event is clubbing with Sawasdee's colleagues.
They all planned to go clubbing at Lavish.
Joe also booked table already for that night.
So I just tagged along since I stay at home also nothing to do.
Although I'm not fan of clubbing but I did enjoy the night.
We were like dancing the whole night.
We drank shots a lot especially Bacardi 151. o.o
Few people was dead that night but I'm not. *grin*
The funniest thing happen is there bouncer standing behind Penny. Hoho!
She was alright, just that she can't stand properly.
There was a lady keeping an eye on her, then I think she called the bouncer.
The bouncer came and ask her to go out and get some fresh air.
At first, Penny resisted and said she alright and all.
We have to like convince her that she have to go out for while.
Finally she gave in and I bring her outside.
The lady still follow us and tell us that she need to leave the club.
I told her that the bouncer asked her to come out for while to get some fresh air.
Then the lady disappeared.
Lucky there's is nothing big happened. (:
Clubbing end at 3 and some of them doesn't feel enough.
So we all head back to Sawasdee and cooked something to eat.
Carey and Jiab were completely dead.
Like only 6 am I reached back home.

Last event of the week was chocolate making class again yesterday. (:
This time we make chocolate with filling in it.
Starting of the class, we revised the tempering for the chocolate blok.
And this time we used dark chocolate to do.
I have same partner as last week, Bryan.
Then we did the chocolate bloks and it came out prefect.

After that, we learned how to put filling in the chocolate.

Starting off with tempering the chocolate.

Then,

And the filling made out from untempered choc and hazelnut nougat. Yummy~!

After that, we filled the mould with the tempered chocolate.
Then we tilted it over to let the chocolate flow down.

After a while, we tilted back and started filling with the nougat and put another layer of chocolate to cover the filling.
We succesfully created a new languages.

The chocolate had cooled down after the cooling process and in the fridge for a while.
Then we take out the chocolate and this how it look like.

After that, we all cleaned up and all.

The chef said we are good since we are newbie in tempering chocolate.

Damn, yesterday got my food safety plan's test results and I left 1 more mark to pass. :(

Well, I don't mind and planning to bake a Chocolate cake but don't know what type yet.

Blah.
Here I am.
Just want to drop wishes to all Mothers in the world and of course my Mother as well.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers and my Mother.

I love her so much.
I miss her a lot.
I want to thank her for everything she did for me.
Hope she doing well now. (:
Can't wait to see her when I get back.
And hope she likes the present I gave to her for her birthday and mother day.
Well, not I choose or buy but I did ask friend help me buy.
Heart that count right. (:

Got good news. (:
Few days ago, my sister told me that my cousin got a baby daugther and just turn one month last friday.
Men, I'm old already since I become uncle.
I can't wait to see her when I go back end of this year.
Sure cute. (:

Phew!
Tonight work was so busy.
Just come back not long ago.
Very hardcore work and tiring. >.<
Started at 5 and finished around 11pm.

Okay.
Let talk about today class.
I had chocolate making class this morning as I mentioned in my previous post.
We started of with introduction to the chocolate.
There new knowledge now added into my cooking dictonary. (:
After introduction, we start with the chef demo how to temper chocolate and make chocolate block out from tempered chocolate.
Then we off start with our own work.
My partner for today is Bryan from Malaysia also. LOL!
We get the milk chocolate from the machine.

This is the machine that we took our milk chocolate.

Then we have to make sure is 43 degree.
After that, we cool 2/3 the chocolate by moving the chocolate around the marble stone.

This how we temperd our chocolate on marble stone.

We need to get to around 27 degree then we put back into the 1/3 chocolate to get the heat back up to 30 degree.
We did it prefectly and we put into the mould to shape the chocolate.

This the mould we put our chocolate in.

Then we put chocolate on a vibration near the machine to get the bubble out.
After that, we put the chocolate in a cooling machine to let it cool down.
We have to repeat the process for 3 times so that the chocolate can set.

The process took 7 minutes for one time.
So we clean our bench as the tempering was super messy and make our uniform dirty.
Chocolate is the hardest ingredients to keep clean.

After the process, we take the chocolate and put at the bench for half an hour.
Then we go for break while waiting for it to set.
Later on after break, we checked our chocolate and still not set.
So we put in the fridge for while.
Then we got our chocolate out and it was nice.

Our chocolate got the 'snap' sound and indicate our chocolate being tempered correctly.
It was quite a success for the first attempt.
Then we have a second go and repeat the whole process again.

Then we allowed to bring back home 8 pieces of the small blocks.
Bryan didn't want, so he gave his share to me. Hehe~!
My housemate and his girlfriend so happy when I bring back chocolate for them. Haha!

Overall, is a good knowledge to learn and all.
Glad that I didn't miss out this class.

You're the best mom ever.
Although I made you angry and keep get scolding from you, but I know you did that for my own good.
I know you won't be reading this.
And if you do, I confirmed get scolding from you about my life in Melbourne.
I hope I didn't get you worry back home about me living in here.
I wanted to tell you how much I miss you and want to celebrate your birthday with you.
I already missed 2 years celebration with you.
I hope you keep healthy and don't work so hard.
I will try to lower down your burden and hopefully I can send some money back to you later on.

My Mom birthday is on 2nd May.
I was suppose to post it few days ago but I was supposed to get pictures from Vicki.
She said she want to wait for Mother's day and buy two things together.
Since she willing to help me to buy stuff for my mom, I can't really blame her.
Hope I know what she buying for my mom.
Look like my wallet will get hole when I go back to Malaysia as I owe Vicki a lot but worth every cents because is for my Mom! (:

Let see what to updates.

Friday and Saturday, I was working and it's so freaky busy till non-stop services. >.<
Then on after work on Saturday, we all stay to drink.
I didn't drink that much and that's like after few months of not drinking.
I was not drunk or high, so ya.
We stayed there till like 6am tho and we drank like 10 jugs of cocktails. >.<

Monday, go for class and the lecturer told us that this Thursday bulk cookery class cancelled due to renovation and next week as well.
This class had been cancelled for 4 weeks in the row counting in this two weeks.
Well, is good to have no early morning class at 7am for 4 weeks but then we paid for it.
The chef was quite piss as well but they can't do anything about it.

Tuesday was okayy.
I had a nosebleed at morning when I woke up.
I went back to sleep since I can't wake up and have to wait till it stop.
I still can nosebleed even the weather is cold. =.=
Afternoon went for class tho.
The leadership and management class was freaky boring.
Basically dozing off the whole time.
Anyone please sms me that time around 3pm onwards. LOL!
Finance class okay la.
Basically everything I learned before, so just revise everything again.
Finish early because is just a small topic.

O ya, half way throught leadership class, a senior coordinator came in to inform us about the Thursday class.
He said that they going to organise a Chocolate making class for these 2 weeks to replace the bulk cookery class that been cancelled.
The calss going to take 4 hours from 8am-12pm.
Basically short and not that bad.
Get to learn new stuff.
Then later finish class, my friends and I headed to another building for Finance class tho.
There a group of another friends from other group came and asked us not to go for the chocolate class.
It appeared that they want to boycote the school for organising the class and saying this is the international students right.
They said like that because we choose bulk cookery as our major, not chocolate making.
They plannned not to attend the class tho.
So I don't know what to do.

Today as in Wednesday, I still thinking about it and all.
Then I decided to go since I at home also got nothing to do.
The school send another sms to tell us that the chocolate making class is worth while doing.
So it appeared that the another groups didn't attend the class.
Work today again and not that busy.
Basically quite relaxing tho.

Okay.
I shall head to bed now as I have to wake up early for class tomorrow.
I had alot thinking again and will try to update about it.

Today I went to Caulfield for job hunting alone. >.<
Kelly was suppose to follow me but then she last minute not free.
So can't blame her for that.
I wanted to go Chadstone to look for more jobs but then I didn't print enough resumes.
So I didn't go.
Hopefully I will be free another to go again.
I went to like 4 shops in Caulfield.
2 of them was in the Monash Uni and 2 just like beside the Uni.
Hopefully I can get one of the job there. (:

Then later on, I went for my second job in Laksa-me at Chinatown.
The job my friend recommend me there to work tho.
I start the job on the today itself as a kitchen hand.
So I helped out to prepare the entree stuff and wash dishes. (:
Now left one more job to go.

This job only once a week and $9 per hour.
So not that bad.
Quite relaxing as well the job.
I shall keep on going with it. WohoO~!

Hello people!

I got new haircut. (:
Neater and doesn't look like mushroom anymore like everybody say so. >.<
I think I look way younger now. Haha.
I don't have picture of myself so ya.

Anyway I got my new PSP.
Is in red colour. Haha. Awesome. xD
Went all the way to Clayton to get it because Xiang help me take from Malaysia.
So I go pick it up after my haircut on Saturday.
Hope my mom won't kill me if she know about it. >.<

Then came back to city to have dinner with Kok Wei, Patricia and Pamela.
After dinner, they came to my house to lepak and play Wii.
I was supposed to go karaoke tho that night with my work colleagues.
But then Kok Wei and Patricia wanted to stay my place longer.
So I decided not to go and stay at home.
End up, they all stayed until like next afternoon.
And I didn't get to sleep the whole night.
To kill the time, I play my psp and entertain them.
Pamela already sleep tho around midnight.
The two person only decided to sleep around 10 plus in the morning.
I couldnt sleep anymore and then i play my psp until my eye really tired.
Until like 2 something, I finally can sleep at the couch for an hour before go to work.
Thank godness Sunday not that busy.
Can rest abit. >.<
Came back home after work.
Then my housemate's girlfriend told me that Naruto Movie 2 out already.
And my housemate downloading that time.
Finish download, we watch together.
The movie was nice but some part just making no sense. HAHA!
You guys should go watch it. (:
Finish watching at 2am and head to bed.

Today went to class.
Almost late for class tho although I set like 3 alarms.
I did woke up and on my laptop but fall back asleep.
My class at 9am and I woke up around 8.25am.
Quickly get ready and I go class.
The lecturer told us that Thursday kitchen class cancel again.
That mean tomorrow is the last class day of the week.
Going to have long weekend.
Then today I think teacher for last class was MIA.
We all waited 30 minutes and he didn't show up.
So we all decided to go back. (:

Since I got long weekend, I plan to go job hunting on Thursday around Caulfield and Chadstone.
Hope I can get western job.
O ya, going interview at Ric's workplace on Thursday as well.
So hope it work out. (:

Updates updatess~!
I was supposed to update my blog last night but then internet was very slow, so unable to update. :(

I realised this whole week, there a lot of customer came to eat.
I walk, cook, run, and kill non-stop in the kitchen last night.
Is been a while since I had this kind of atmosphere in kitchen.
At least it kept me busy until services over. =)
After work, everybody started to drink a bit but I didn't.
I haven't drink for a long time and only drink during special occasion. :)
My god sister and I were waiting for Ton to go yam cha at Tien Ren.
From 11.47pm, I called her and she said 10 minutes.
End up, we waited until 12.30am.
We scolded her a bit then off we go to yam cha.
We talked for almost 2 hours about personal and work stuff.
Long time I didn't like talk with my god sister and Ton like this in a while.

O ya, I think it’s time to update about Easter holidays.
Let see,

Chai Ling came down to Melbourne to visit on Saturday for 8 days.
Then she stays over at my place for a night.
I didn't really bring her anywhere except lunch and grocery because was too tired.
We went to grocery shopping to buy some ingredients as I promised to cook for her.
So since I'm going to cook, must as well cook for my housemate and his girlfriend.
After grocery, went back home and start to prepare dishes.

My menu for the night was BBQ pork, Steamed Bak Choy with oyster sauce, Omelette and Crème Caramel.
While doing crème caramel, I accidentally burn my 4 right fingers with hot caramelised sugar.
So bloody pain. >.<
Took me like 4 hours to cool down my finger.
Although there pain, I still managed to finish my dishes.

Then on Sunday, Chai Ling and I go to Kar Yee's place because she going to stay at her place for the rest of her holidays.
Kar Yee is one of my long lost friends from Sri Bestari.
Been a while and I'm glad I start to know back all the Bestarian gangs. (:
That time train got some delay and we end up arrived there like 1.30pm which we supposed to meet up at 1pm. >.<

Then we lepak at her place for a while and chit chatted.
I also met Kar Yee's sister, Carmen. (:
We had lunch at Caulfield in Thai place. LOL!
I worked in Thai place but still ended up in Thai restaurant.
Kar Yee realised half way when we eating why we eating at Thai place when I work in Thai place almost everyday.
I also don’t mind anyway as long got food. (:
After eating, we go back to Kar Yee's place and watched some drama before go work.
It was nice meeting back them.
Glad we able to keep in touch after long time. =)

Monday, there’s nothing much beside staying at home and work.

Tuesday, I being woke up by Kar Yee's msg for asking my help to get some info about Philip Island and Wild Park on Thursday for Chai Ling visiting.
Of course I can't say no because I was free on that day and I also want Chai Ling to visit all these places.
Msg back for a while then I doze off again.
Then I online for while then off I go to search for the information that she needed.
I went to Visitor Info Centre at Federation Square.
Ask about the info then messaged and called Kar Yee to tell her about it.
She working that time so can't blame her for replying late.
I waited for 30 minutes or more until she replied.
After she confirmed, I booked for two people.
I wanted to go also but sadly I'm working that day and can't take off anymore because financial problem. >.<
After booked the tour for Thursday, I went to pay my bill then I go Chadstone to meet up with Kar Yee, Carmen and Chai Ling.
We were supposed to watch 17 again movie but then Kar Yee too tired, so plan changed.
Instead watch movie, we went to have dinner at Pancake Parlour.
There only 4 of us but we order 3 main courses and 2 desserts.

After eating, we back back to Caufield station and we split from there as I need to go back city.

On Wednesday, we had Bestarian reunion.
All thanks to Kar Yee's help, the reunion was quite successful tho.

I met with Shireen first around 3.30pm then we chit-chatted for while meanwhile waiting for the rest.
Then Kar Yee, Carmen and Chai Ling arrived in city but went to take pictures first since Chai Ling want to. (:
So Yee Yean came later then we three walked to Flinders St but later on turn back to State Library to wait for Kar Yee and the rest.
Yee Yean, Shireen and I had a good talk while waiting for them.
It feels so good to catch up back with them.
After Kar Yee and the rest arrived, we took some pictures and went in State Libray to have look.

The crepes not bad, just that they quite stingy for the filling I would say.
Kar Yee and her sister joined us later then we go Max Brender to get drinks.
Most of us didn't want, so we just accompany the rest.
After they got their drinks, we went to my workplace to have dinner.
I was supposed to work that day but took off just for the reunion.
We went there around 6.30pm but the dishes came at 7.30pm.
We wanted it very slow, that’s why the food came so late.
That day wasn't that busy, so luckily my manager didn't kill me for taking off. >.<
Jovin joined us later for dinner but he went off like 30 mins of eating because he had interview at Platform 1.
Farhana joined us like when we almost finish our dinner.
After we had our dinner, we went to Crown to see the fire thing.

Thursday, I woke up early to send Kar Yee and Chai Ling to the pickup spot.
The pickup time was like 11.15am and I woke up early around 9am plus so that I won't oversleep. >.<
I went online while waiting for them meanwhile dozing off.
Then Kar Yee msged me and I walked to Melbourne Central to meet up with them.
I sat there for while and waiting to sleep.
Thank god got music keep me awake.

They arrived then bring them to the pickup spot which is 2 mins walk. LOL!
I waited with them so that they got on to the tour bus. (:
The bus tour arrived on time although we thought they might ffk us. Haha!
After sending them, went back home and took a short nap.
Then later on, go work.

Friday was freaky bored besides working at night.
The whole day was like a miserable day without doing anything.
If I knew this going to happen, I might as well follow Kar Yee and Chai Ling to Great Ocean Road.
Nevermind la since is already past. (:
After work, was supposed to go clubbing with Kar Yee and Chai Ling.
I was rushing back home to shower and everything.
Once I got ready and tried to call Kar Yee but no answer.
Then I think Carmen used Kar Yee's phone to msg me saying the plan was cancelled.
So I changed back to pjs and online the whole night.
Don't really matter to me as I'm not fan of clubbing anyway.

On Saturday, Kar Yee and I send Chai Ling to airport by Skybus.
Meet up with them at Southern Cross then off we go to airport.
Waited with her to check in her luggages then send her to the gate.
Then Kar Yee and I went back to city.
I sent her to the platform then I also went back home as we both are tired.
Then at night I went to buy ticket for Fast & Furious 4.
I went thru a lot troubles confirming who is going and all. >.<
End up only Kok Wei, Patricia, Jun Jie, Aeon and his gf.
The movie was cool and nice. Like the car and the race. (:
After movie, Kok Wei, Patricia and I went have supper as I only had small dinner.
asically that's how I spent my Easter holiday tho.
Anyway, thoughts had been flowing in as usual.

The person you think can trust the most will end up betraying you in the end.
Who can I really trust?
Will time decide everything?
Can I like control my feelings?
I am trying my best not to make things worse.
Not everything will go what you planned, basically nothing.
Karma will affect everything.
I wish everything will get better later on.
It is really hard to go thru all these without any support.
It is there any true friends around this world?

It seem like most of my friends here only seek me for helps and doesn't care what happen to me as long they doing good.

I'm back to update again.
Today been bored the whole morning and Restaurant City was down till like 12 something. >.<
Work was super duper busyy until I reached back home an hour later after the services close around 10.45pm.
Is unusual for Wednesday to be busy, I work non-stop, run around kitchen and etc. Phew~!
Finally day is over. >.<

O ya, if you guys realised, I changed my blogskins.
Hope you guys like it and give some opinion at my chatbox. (:
Spent like 4 hours doing it and finally done.

I went to bed early last night and woke up like around 7 am plus. Sigh.
Tried to sleep early but end up thinking about stuff again.

My thoughts:

I wonder,

If I doesn't exist in this world, what will happen to others life?
If I would gone one day, will people take notice of that?
Will people care about me when I suddenly die without any reasons?
Will people shed tears for me?
Do my existence really matter to other people?
Am I an annoying person?
Can I make other people happy?
How important am I to my friends?
Do my existence matter to people?

Sometimes I realised, some friends do seek me just for help.
Other than that, they wouldn't contact me at all.

Brrr, just come back from classs.
Wake up early today just to finish my presentation due today.
Went to school library to finish up.
Managed to finish before 3pm class and still alot times to spare. >.<

Is so not good to do last minutes work but can't help it since is a group assignment and everybody doesn't seem free during holidays.
The outcome of the last minutes work and basically i did like 90% of the thing.

Look abit complicated tho. Hope you guys can understand what it is.

O, I'm going to miss this drink as I been told this drink can't be imported to Melbourne anymore. >.<

Well, I been thinking quite a while and is hard to find a western restaurant work in tho.
So I looking for another job, no matter what kind of job as long is legal of course.
So anybody got a job available, please tell me. >.<
I had asked Kar Yee about her workplace, hope there a vacant there tho. (:

I planned to get 3 jobs although is going to be so hectic and tiring for me but I don't mind as I'm paying for my own living expenses here including rent.
I also decided to pay my own fees when I get like a decent job while studying.
I just don't want to burden my parents anymore as I got another 3 more younger siblings that need my parents care and I wish I could help their burden.

Sometimes I wonder am I a burden for my family, that's why I been send here alone and far away from them.
I just can't stop thinking about it sometimes.
I been giving a lot of troubles last time back then until they don't really trust me.
Sometimes I do think they hate me a lot by scolding me every moment instead of my elder brother.
Now I had came to my thinking and realised they scold for my own goods.
They are important people in my life and I can't afford to lose them.

And I came to realise this long ago and now I want to say it out in this blog.
I became my parent's hope and they counting on me in the future.
Not only my parents, all the relatives also including my grandma.
She supporting me to open a restaurant next time and I really miss all of them. :(
I doesn't want to disappoint them again as I already had disappoint them a lot of times before.
Is hard to walk down this road alone though.
I sometimes wonder why must be me to carry this hope but not my brother.
There a lot of pressures to handle and I'm trying my best to cope with it.
Already few times, I feel lonely and wanting to break down tho.
In fact, I already breakdown once last year and is really hard to control the feelings.
Sometimes I just need someone to be at my side.
It's seem hard but times will decide everything.
Sometimes I feel too tired and planned to give up.
But somehow there a tiny voice in my mind keep pushing me to go on.
I'm trying my very best now to achieve my parents standard.
Life have a lot of obstacles and I been thru a lot.
I been thru a year in Melbourne alone altho there's some problem occured.
I'm glad that I still got friends that I can count on either in Malaysia or Melbourne.
So I'm going to keep fighting all this obstacles and be a successful person.
I will take all the past as lessons to me and my guidance, so I won't be making the same mistakes anymore.

Holiday had ended. ):
Class begin today and I have to wake up early.
I woke up around 7.30am. >.<

Monday always the longest day of the week for me as I have to work at night also.
Thank god, i finish class earlier at 3.30pm, an hour early.
So I get to rest more before I start work at 5pm.

At work today, I almost BURN my right hand today almost at the end of the services.
Thank god my hand not cooked and still functioning. >.<

Today class boring as usual.
Almost doze off in every class since 9am.

I’m back to update my blog.
I felt guilty for skipping a class today.
I set my alarm at 7 in the morning but couldn’t hear. Bloody hell!
Woke up at 9 in the morning and realised I overslept because class start at 9. Sigh!
After do some work, I went for the rest of the class and go work after that.
I never skip a class since I came here but today I actually broke it.

O ya, recently got chest pain again.
It been happening on and off but rarely la.
I'm alright now for those who cares about me.
I will take care about myself and you guys will be seeing me for a long time more. :)

Hmm.
Let see what been going on for past few days.
Xiang’s mum went back at Tuesday 2 am.
I off from work earlier so can send her with Xiang and Jun Jie to airport.
We stayed till 1 am then come back home and online.

Then on Wednesday, I was off for the whole day. No work and no class.
So, I help Xiang and Jun Jie to move their stuff to Clayton.
Patricia and Kok Wei follow as well.
Xiang got like 3 luggages to carry and we are her so called servant.

We was supposed to go early but everybody wake up quite late tho except Patricia because i called her since she want to do some stuff before join us.

Around afternoon, we started to move our ass to Clayton.

We took bus and by the time we reach their new place, everybody was exhausted and hungry.
So we quickly go find food to eat.
Half way walking back to bus stop, Jun Jie’s friend came and join us.
He bring us to one residence place to eat Indian food but it closed.
There was Nando jus beside, so we decided to eat there only since we all were hungry.
That meal was our breakfast, lunch and tea time as we ate at 4. HAHA!

After eating, we went back to clean up for while.
The house was in the mess and take ages to clean.
I didn’t really do anything because too lazy and tired. =P

Anyhow, we were supposed to go Patricia’s house to eat and we were running late.
So we quickly rush to her house before her mum get mad.

Jun Jie and Kok Wei wanted to buy flower for aunty but all shop was closed.
And the funny thing is, they call Patricia “Kai Jie” in eng is Big sister but she are younger than the,.
So along the way, they was like saying “We going to meet ‘kai ma’ later.”
Patricia get annoyed but didn’t really mind.
Jun Jie and Kok Wei went to buy sparkling wine for aunty.

Then we reached Patricia’s house around 8pm.
Aunty’s food is nice and delicious.
Aunty keep on give us food non-stop.
She is really very nice. *Pat, see me praising your mum. =D*

Then after dinner, we head off back to city and I get my kitchen shoes from my work colleague as I need it for next day class.

Thursday have to wake up like 6am for 7am class.
So freaky sleep and all we do is making a 2 kg pumpkin soup and store it for 28 days to sell. LOL!

Now I have to find another job as my current job can’t have a lot shifts as my Head Chef is coming back from his holiday.
If not, I will be having financial problem as my parents don’t give me allowance already.
I have to plan my financial properly.
That is a must to do when living in overseas alone.
That will be all for now.

Brrr..
I’m back for updates again.

Today I went to Bridge Road with Xiang, her mum and Patricia.
My purpose to go there was to buy kitchen shoes but end up shopping with the girls.
We started walking at there around 12 till 4 something.
Within that period, I spent around $200.
A lot of money just gone but is worthy la.
I was the bag carrier for the day. LOL!

Then after that, went back to my place, drop stuff and I off to work.
Meanwhile, the girls stay at my place for some chitchat!

Hewllo everybody.
Looks seem like I have been neglecting my blog for such a long period.

Well, it’s time for updates now.
Hmm. I still don’t know where to start from.
Maybe I should start from where I stop.

Well, I moved place again.
I was basically homeless for 2 months plus.
Thank god got my god sister to help me.
There a lot thing happens during that period.
But now is all alright.
I found a better place and have a good stay now.

During holiday, I had been working full time.
So basically my routine is work, sleep and play.
During that period, work colleagues and I always go Karaoke and drink a lot.
Well, now I already haven’t touch alcohol for 1 month plus.

Recently Xiang jus came to Melbourne and she haven’t found place to stay.
So she and her mum are staying at my place for temporary.
So they sleep in my room while I sleep at living room. Haha!
I have been helping them to find houses and company them to Clayton for Xiang’s registration as she verrrry blur about about all this.
So I being a good friend went and company her mum and her to Monash.
Look like I have more company in Melbourne. Hehe!

Well, my new semester has started and I chose Bulk Cookery as my elective subject.
This subject is basically about managing food cost and how to produce in large amount of food.
So is about basically like accounting and business.
Therefore, there is more theory than practical. >.<

Haih~~!!
I just found out from my brother that my grandpa just passed away this morning.
This entire thing just happens too sudden and I already wasn’t in good mood.
I can’t go back for the funeral and I feel so upset about it.
I’m like a bad grandson who doesn’t attend funeral.
I’m so going to miss my grandpa a lot now.
Although my grandpa a bit troublesome I would say but I still love him as my grandpa from bottom of my heart.
I hope he will rest in peace and have a good afterlife.
I feel sorry for my parents especially my grandma.
Hope she will be alright.

To my Grandpa,
I’m sorry that I couldn’t attend your funeral as I just found out the news recently. Hope you won’t blame me for that. I’m going to miss you as you gone from the world. Although you won’t be at my side, you will always be in my heart forever. You still my beloved grandpa who always loves me. Hope you will have a good rest and I know it already time for you to leave this world. Lastly, I want to say I love you, Grandpa.

On Friday, I was in charge of bread making.
Overall was good and successful. Hehe.

Later at night went to work.
Well, I didn’t drink at all.
See, told ya I can keep my promises. xD

Saturday not much things happen besides working.
Didn’t drink as well on that night.

On Sunday, I went out to buy ingredients to bake cake for my friend’s birthday with my two sis and Fei Chai. xD
After buying all the stuff, head off to work.
After work, some of us which is Elvin, Ai-Lynn, Penny, Season and I went to KBox to sing karaoke. xD
We sang till 3am in the morning then head back home.

Monday, I in charge of Caesar Salad and turned out not bad.

Got few customers walk in as we got no booking on that night.

After class, I quickly rushed off to Carey’s (second sister) apartment to start to bake cake.
Penny (Big sister) was suppose to come but she too tired.
The cake I’m making is Green Tea cake with strawberry coulis.
Well, preparation took quite some time as there break in between.
The baking end at 3 am and I head back home to finish the rest as Carey’s housemate need to sleep.
I didn’t sleep the whole night just to finish up the cake as the next day I got whole day class.
I finished everything at 9 am something as I need to wait sponge to cool down.
Decorate it and put in fridge then get ready for class.

I was so freaky sleepy on Tuesday.
During Dietary class, we have to walk 2 rounds at Flagstaff Garden.
Men, I already tired and have to walk somemore.
I even fall asleep in class for few times.
Later on, during practical we have to prepare processed fish’s dishes.

I didn’t take picture of fish sausages.
I quickly rush and clean everything, even help others because I need to go to my workplace with the cake.

I went back home and quickly take shower then head off to Sawasdee as they having dinner there.
I walked to there while carrying cakes and a bag of equipment.
When I reached there, I just realised they waiting for me to start the dinner.
I didn’t know about that as I thought the dinner started a while ago since my class end at 9 pm.
We ate the dinner then took some pictures.
Birthday girl (Season) was so pretty that night and everybody dressed up quite good except for Sudono.

There tons of pictures but currently is not with me.
So I will post it up when I got those pictures in my hand.
The cake turned out good except it pretty hard to cut.
Guessed I put too much flour in it. xD
But the taste was alright, that’s what everybody said as I didn’t try some.
Season was touched by the cake.
Well, at least my effort paid off in the end.
After staying a while after dinner, I head back home to sleep as I really tired that time.

Wednesday, I got open book exam and it turns out pretty good as I did few careless mistakes.
I got back my last week’s results and I got a B.
Guessed I done pretty fast and leave out some points.
After class, when I reached home, I just realised I didn’t bring my key out.
So I have to wait for my housemate to come back.
I was planning to take nap before I go out as I lack of sleep.
But I can’t, so I decided to call Kok Wei to have lunch.
He bring me to Chatter Box and ate some food there.
I ordered Spicy chicken with rice and it really not nice.
It should be spicy but ended up, too salty.
After catch up with Kok Wei, headed back home as my housemate already back.
Then later went work.

Today got no class, so I’m kind of rotting here.
Doing my laundry now.
Before I finish off with my post, I would like to dedicate Happy Birthday to someone.

Hmm. Look like this blog going to be dead if I don’t start to update.
Okay. Let start from Friday since Thursday nothing to updates.

On Friday, I had restaurant class as usual and the bistro was closed for the day.
So the chef doesn’t want to waste the food for the day.
Then he called us to set up the table and put like 3 portion of each dishes on the table.
And we all sat down, eat and give comment about the food.

Saturday and Sunday basically working.
Saturday I got really drunk and that will be last time of my drinking.
I just don’t like the feeling of waking up tomorrow feeling shyt~!

On Monday, restaurant class again and I cooked steamed fish with beetroot relish.
That day got customer work in and was quite busy.
So I didn’t get chance to take photo of my food.

Tuesday was a relax day I should say although I got whole day of class.
For dietary class, there something interesting going on.
We get to check our all info for inner body including age.
Is not compulsory but I give it a go.
No big deal knowing about it.
So the results were good.

That mean I have to exercise more. xD
Bone Bass – amount of bone (bone mineral level, calcium or other minerals).

Later on at night, I got fish cooking again.

Work work work.
I had been working for a while now.
Getting more tired day by day but is all good.
Is for sake of money and to kill time.
Apparently time has pass faster that Term 3 left 4 weeks then term break.

Update from last week.

Thursday nothing happen besides working.

On Friday, during restaurant cookery, we get to be customer after preparing all the dishes.
Well, I’m one of 7 people.
Is fun to be customer and order foods. Ngek!
I ordered mushroom soup and fish & chips.

Then at night went to work and drink a bit again. >.<

On Saturday, went work again and quite busy.
There kitchen issues going on and I lazy to explain here.
So just drop the topic.
Well, I wasn’t suppose to drink that night because have to pick up my friend at 4 am.
But I drank a bit and was still sober.
Then we left at 2 something and I straight to my friend’s workplace.
From the moment I step there, I start feel a bit tipsy as the alcohol start to go up.
Waited 2 hours until like 4.30am then walk my friend back after she finish work.
There something happened that night but couldn’t really remember.
Some problem I caused there la and my friend was damn mad at me.
But now are all good. Phew. >.<

Sunday I work and in charge of dinner and supper.
All was good that night.

Monday start Menu 2 and I was in charge of making Beef and Mushroom Pie with Jacket Potato.
Didn’t had chance to take any pictures of it because there customers coming in.
Since that was our first day of Menu 2, everything was messy but all good in the end.
Every dish came up nicely and went to customer smoothly.

Today had Trevally fish’s dishes and we have to prepare one of them our creation.
I came up with Steamed fish and some ingredients.
Chef said it was very good and there fresh taste on it.
I’m so proud of myself. Buaahaha.

Back for updates again.
Been lazy and tired to update.

There not much updates on Thursday.

Friday had class and I’m Tournat.
So I help around in the kitchen.
Then work and play some games.
I pushed up quite a lot numbers.
My muscles were cramp for few days.
I had some drink but not much.

Then Saturday after work, almost all Sawasdee’s workers go KBox to celebrate Big’s farewell party.
I didn’t get drunk that night as I need to take care my da jie although I drank quite number of vodka.
We all sang like mad cow though.
That night was fun and enjoying.

Went back around 4 am and reached home after sending my da jie back home.

On Sunday, nothing much happen besides I cook dinner and supper for the staff.
I cooked grilled pork and fried rice.

On Monday, class was busy.
We had 24 customers on that day.
I wasn’t doing any dishes, so I helped up the services.
After class, I went to Sawasdee to join the Big’s farewell dinner.
It’s his last night in Australia then he going back to Thailand.
Although I know him for a short time but he really a nice guy.
I only got one picture so far.

I like the quail and kangaroo with the sauce.
The goat meat was a bit tough but still all good.

Today went for 2 hours class.
So tired and lazy.
Later going to work.

O ya, here some rice cooking in microwave.
This specially for Nicole as she need someone to prove that can be done in microwave.
She burned hers. That why.

First step.

Put 1 cup of rice and 1 1/3 cup of water.
Then put in microwave without the lid for 4 mins.

Then put in microwave without the lid for 4 mins.
During 2 mins, take out and stir then put back in for another 2 mins.

Then take out and put the lid on.

Put back in for another 4 mins.

Then the rice is done and can be served.

There you go Nicole; you can prove to your friends about this.
This also can be lesson to those people who want to cook rice faster and doesn’t have rice cooker.

Hey. Sorry for late updates.
I was pretty busy and lazy to update my blog.
Start off with Friday okay.

Friday had Dietary Menu cookery assessment.
I was in charge of dessert and I have to do Low Fat Vanilla Pannacotta.
There a picture about it.

It was not that bad but taste yogurt.
You know la; low fat stuff doesn’t always taste so good.
Then at night go to work and cook dinner for the staff.
I cooked curry chicken as I said on my previous post.
Turn out pretty good and everyone said is nice.
Then after work, we watched Olympic Open Ceremony.
Watch for while, and then head back home.

On Saturday, Sze Yee had potluck at her place.
It suppose to be dinner time but she changed it to lunch time as is convenience for others to go back home.
I went there quite early in the morning as need to prepare a lot of stuff.
I overslept in the train and went few stations ahead.
Thanks got not many station ahead, then quickly I take another side to go back.
I cooked pork spare ribs, crème caramel and chocolate pudding and helped for curry chicken.
There a lot of pictures but still with Sze Yee and she’s quite busy for now.
So when I got the pictures, I will update again.
There other foods like chicken wings and jelly.
Everybody was bloated after eating.
There quite a lot of food left and the kitchen were in the mess.
Everybody started to leave after 4, one by one.
Then left Jian Hao, Sze Yee and I talking around to pass time.
Then I went back home around 11.30pm.
And there no more train to head back to city.
I have to take taxi back to city.
It costed me bloody $44.60.
And I got not enough cash!
Shot of 2 bucks, thank god the taxi driver was good enough. :)
I went work place as promised to go back to drink with them.
Drink but didn’t got really drunk.
I was still able to walk back home.

Then Sunday, I got a bit hangover and don’t feel good.
Just before I went work, I feel much better.
Working was good and nice.
Then went back home and burn midnight oil to finish up my assignment.

Today I was in soup department.
I made chicken stock and reheating spicy chicken soup.
It doesn’t taste that great and I have to adjust it with some seasoning.
The day was alright.
Now I have to head and do my workplan for tomorrow.

Wake up early for 2 hours class then head back home.
Nothing to do the whole day beside work.
Yesterday during work, I was asked to cook supper.
I having hard time to think what to cook then sweet and sour chicken pop up.
Then I prepared all the ingredients and just cook before the supper.
End up; every staff said it was nice and yummy.
Bangga nya me.
First time cook for like 15 people to eat and got praised.

Getting hangover is really sucked.

Then now online I’m waiting for dell person come and fix my laptop again as my keyboard got problem.

I was supposed to update my blog last night but I got tipsy.
Yesterday woke up late and almost late for class.
My duty for the day is making chocolate pudding.
Yummy!
Took the progress pictures but the ending I forgot to take as there no customer yet.
So there was no end product. Haha.

End up, I drank 5 bottles of beer and I a bit tipsy.

I am having pleasure working in Sawasdee.
Working keep me busy and fill up my boredom.
Besides that, I can earn money.

Yesteray night was my first day of working at Sawasdee.

I’m working in BBQ section as I need cook satay, bbq chicken, oyster and rice.

I’m working as trainee now and the payment not as bad.

Just $30 per shift and is reasonable because I still a trainee.

Beside, I’m working to gain experience and learn new stuff in my industries.

Suprisingly yesterday was busy day.

Normally a full bag of oyster takes few days to finish but it took a day yesterday and I having hard time to wash the oyster.

It was a good experience to me tho.

Having fun in Sawasdee so far. xD

After work, sat down at the bar and just chit chat with the manager and other workedr.

Most of the worker I already know them as I went there couple of times for drinking.

Tonight working again.

My laptop’s keyboard ‘D’ is making fuss. Keep on repeating.

First word I want to say here is TIRED!!!!
Gosh. Have whole day class is so not fun at all.
Damn freaky tiring wei.
Anyway, first class was so boring until I half asleep.
Thank god didn’t get caught and class end early.

Really thank god I learn all the basic portioning the chicken.
I’m like a pro there. Buahahaha!

I went clubbing in Balaclava with Lillian for her friend’s birthday party.
I just go as I need to take care of her.
Had a few drinks and dance.
Basically how that night went.

Sunday

Had farewell dinner for Maggie as she going back Japan for holidays around 6 months.
Then drinking session on but we didn’t stay for long.

Monday

I had Restaurant class this time and the menu is the same as I post the pictures up on last Friday.
This time I did Cream of Mushroom Soup.
The making process was a bit screwed up as the processor so stupid.
But at the end, it was all worthy and good. xD
I even got compliment for the soup. Hehe.
Then later go for interview at Sawadee.
I got a job there as a trainee first in BBQ section.
I am going to start work on Wednesday’s night. Alleluya!
Finally I’m going to work.

Now I have to prepare to go for class.
Having whole day class again.
Tiring sial.

I’m back for updates.
I was being a lazy bum last few days.
Let start from Wednesday.

Wednesday

I went watch The Dark Knight with Ton, Lillian, Wendy and Gary.

The movie was good and I like the joker. xD
I would give 4/5 for this movie.
I don’t want to give any spoiler before those haven’t watch come kill me.

Thursday

Whole day was at home do clean up my room and do laundry.
Then at night I went for Temptation Night held by Albert and Lillian asked me to go.
So I went with her.
The night was good except few things happen.
There pole dancing and it was just average for me.
It doesn’t pull my attention tho.
Don’t know why.
Then when about 1 am, there a drunk guy trying to put a fight with me.
At first, Lillian and I were just sitting down and talk about her boyfriend and all.
Then suddenly this guy came and at first was cool.
Later on, he got piss out of nowhere and started swearing tho.
He tried to ask me to go one side and fight with him.
I just ignore him and keep asking him to leave.
I cannot leave from that place, because I know if I leave, I sure get smacked by him.
Then later Joey came and talk to him nicely.
If Joey was not working, he already punched him.
Then Joey got away from his attention and the attention came to me.
Joey go call the security and the drunk guy’s friend try to pull him off.
Before the security came, that guy takes his head and bang into my head.
My nose almost broke but thank god is just hurt and no big deal.
Everybody was so piss at him for doing that to me but I told them is not big deal. :)
Then went eat supper and went home after that.
Reached home, just realised that I didn’t bring my key.
I called my housemate to open door for me. Phew!
If not, I have to sleep at the street and it was freezing.

Today
Today I was late for my restaurant class.
I set my alarm in 2 phones also no use.
And guess what, my bloody housemate didn’t wake me up and went by himself.
Can’t really blame him because is my fault for coming back late and sleep late.
But then, every time I wake up early and we had same class, I sure wake him up until he fully awake.
Sometimes, I really think why must I do good but get shit back.
Guess that my nature for being nice.
Thanks for my friend called me and ask me to come asap.
I quickly rushed to campus and I was late for an hour.
Thank god the instructor was a nice guy.
Got nice lecture from him and that will be my first and last time for being late.
Of course I won’t be late anymore, that what I promised myself.
I went on and prepare for my pumpkin soup.
The day just went on really quickly and all the dishes were ready to serve.
First and second day are just a dry run day.
So there are no customers to be served.

Today I had dietary and cultural class for 3 hours.

Before I head to bed, I just want to update a bit.

Today I had introduction for restaurant cookery.

I’m in charge of soups and stock for next 2 classes.

I need to find 6 different types of soups.

It’s going to be tough but fun. xD

Class ended 3 hours earlier then had dinner with Lillian.

Then I balik rumah and online till now.

I got a bad news to all my friends in Malaysia.

I most probably not coming back for December holiday.

My mom doesn’t let me come back and said wasting money.

Sigh!

I was looking forward for this holiday but now all crushed.

I’m really sorry to those I promise for coming back and a lot of stuff.

I didn’t know it is going to be like this.

Now I am planning to work to get my own air ticket.

Hopefully this plan can work and I can go back to see certain person.

That is all about it.

Not in the mood now and want to sleep to get rid of it.

Sorry for the late updates.
There not much updates since the last updates.
I changed my layout if anyone realise that.
Well, I think quite weird but I still adjusting.
I watched A journey called life (TVB show) till like 6am in the morning on Saturday.
Haha. I know I ki siao one.
Then wake up quite late like 2pm.
That my first time waking up so late.
Then at night meet up with Derrick to hunt for camera since my grandaunt so good to give me US250.
Hunt and hunt then found a camera $599.
So if I want this camera, I need to top up myself and I’m SO BROKE!!
Since camera hunting can’t continue due financial problem.

Later on, meet up with Lillian since we both lost contact for so long.
Chit chats in Max Brender then head to Sawadee as she wants to meet up with her kai kor.
We planned to wait till he finish work then go somewhere else lepak.
But just nice that the place having reunion dinner after working time.
So got food and drink there.
Well, at first I only like drink a bit then slowly start drink a lot as I also play chai mui.
A lot as in all drinks u can name it.
Men, first time got ~~drunk~~ tipsy.
Next day got hangover for the first time.
Well, I still don’t know my limit because all drinks I tried were all different kind.

Then on Sunday after hangover, went Ton’s house to watch tvb show and rot.
At there, I ate dinner as in Chinese home cook dinner.
There soup and ma po tofu.
Men, all the foods make me miss my grandma’s cooking.
I long time didn’t drink soup and yesterday was my first time here.
Really miss home now and a lot more stuff.
Then later on at night, we all go Cashbox with few more friends.
Men, I’m not good in singing but still learning.
Play lucky dice and bluff.
Again, I drank and was tipsy but not as worse as Saturday’s night.
Came back home still can online mean I still okay.
I still went bed late although I got class today.
Thank god that my class start at 4 and I’m now rotting.
More updates later when I back or something.

If you guys are wondering why I drank a lot, not because I was emo or sad.
I just trying my limit and having fun. That all. :)

I got my timetable today and I pretty happy with it.

I seem to have a relax semester except for Tuesday.

That also mean I can’t watch movies on Tuesday unless I watch it like 8 something but then I will be dead tired.

Is okie, won’t die for not watching movie. xD

My 2nd stage of cookery only end at 7 December.

That mean I'm going to go back Malaysia late.

Yesterday was supposed to prepare stuff for competition the next day but just don’t have the mood. xD
Then in afternoon, Selvina messaged me and ask wanna have lunch in Kit’s place as they want to cook.
I went and meet up with them then went buy some grocery stuff to cook.
We arrived at Kit’s place around 3pm.
Start cooking then finish around 7pm.
So the meal consider dinner and that was my first meal and last for the day.
We had lamb roast with mustard, rosemary and thyme for the main course and we had pancake dessert.
I helped a bit to cut the lamb and tasting.

After chit chatting for the whole day and night, we decided to go back home.
For tomorrow competition, I decided to buy the ingredients the next morning as there plenty time and I off to bed early.

As for today, I woke up late as I supposed to wake up at 8 but end up 8.30am
Went wash up and all then iron uniform for the competition.
Prepared all my stuff then head to Safeway to buy ingredients.
Reach campus around 10.30am then register.
Have to wait till 12am for lunch and 1pm for briefing.
Wait and wait and wait till I can get bored.
I’m too excited till can’t wait.
Even my group mate, Julian can’t wait.
Then 2pm the competition finally start.
I wasn’t rushing and all during that time and all go well.
I tried my best and prepare the dishes from bottom of the heart.
Just nice around 3.30pm my dishes were done and put one for tasting and one for presentation.
Then all competitor done their dishes and we cleaned up.
We leave the kitchen around 4.30pm
Then we went for short dishes briefing by the judges for all level.
I gained some experience from the dishes description and all of them are good.
Our first year got some good feedbacks as we can consider very good in our level as we just started to cook.
Then award ceremony at 6pm, so rot till that time.
I didn’t get anything but I’m satisfied as I tried my best and I did a lot of learning from the judges and the seniors’ dishes as this is my first competition.

My mistakes for my dishes are

1) Cabbage too raw. (Should had blanch it first)
2) The sauce ABIT too sour but I already reduced sourness a lot and the sauce seem fine to me.
3) Rice overcooked; probably I didn’t check the timing.

See, there like a lot of mistake there but there good point too.

1) The meat was tender and juicy. Buahahaha.
2) Presentation was nice.

Well, I didn’t wish to win this competition but for experience and learning.
So as the master chef said, at the end of the day, everyone is the winner.

After dinner, went to Melbourne Central to see any movies to watch.

Today didn’t do anything much beside test cook for my upcoming competition.

I am still thinking what to do.

Today I try lemon pork and it turns out quite nice.

I had a few friends came and help to see the presentation and taste also.

They say not bad but there room of improvement.

Hey. I just moved to my new apartment on Sunday.
I have to walk like 8 rounds from my old apartment to new apartment just to move stuff.
Thank god is pretty close by.
The place is pretty good and good environment but is just kind of small.

Monday went out with Kok Wei, Derrick and Aimi go to Chapel Street.
Then walk around for while and we got so bored.
We went back and I have to search for my comforter.
End up buying it at Big W without cover sheet.

After got my comforter, we all go play pool since Kok Wei been complaining hand itchy and want to play so badly.
We planned to play for an hour but end up 2 hours.

After that, Aimi went back and left we three go eat dinner at Sambal Kampung.
After stomach full, the 2 fellow decided to crash my place.
Both of them ~~gay around~~ slept for while on my bed.
They went back around 11 as they need to tram to go back.

Today Kok Wei, Gerrard and I went watch Hancock.
Only we three went as others lazy to come.
The movies was funny at the beginning but ending a bit boring.

Yesterday went to my friend’s place stay over because her place got rat.
That is what she said. When I went to her place, the place was so messed up and dirty.
No wonder rat chooses her place instead other units. :P
Then helped her cleaned up the kitchen because that the main reason for the rats to come.
While I was cleaning kitchen, she was cleaning toilet and that like once in blue moon. Haha.
After all that, we clean living room and the place look better.
I assured her that the rats have gone for good but she doesn’t believe, so she goes stayed over her friend’s place.
My key was at my housemate because she lose her key, so I don’t have key to go back home.
So I decided to jaga rumah for my friend.
Guess what, I didn’t see a rat the whole night. Then this morning helped her cleans her room and cook lunch.
Teman her till she got back her laptop from her aunt’s friend so she won’t get distracted by thinking of rat.
At least with her laptop, she feels secure.
To me, I think the rat has gone for good but yet she doesn’t believe me.
Hope she can sleep well tonight.

Tomorrow I’m moving to my new place.

Yesterday was movie day and I watched Kungfu Panda with Kok Wei, and his friends.
Actually we want to watch movie around 6 something because Gerrard’s gf need to go back early.
We went to Crown since Melbourne Central was packed of people.
Reached there, not much choices of show and the timing quite late as well.
So we decided to eat dinner then wait till Gerrard’s gf go back first.
Then we go watch movies at Melbourne Central since not much choices in Crown.
Thank god Kungfu Panda still got seats but was in front seats.
Here front seats not as bad as Malaysia one.
At least the seats got quite a distance from the screen.

Before we went in for the movies, we went to Coles to buy some drinks and guess what happen in there?

We found a camera and a tv.
We were in the security tv.
How ~~lame~~ cool are we. LOL

We went in for movies and the movie was awesome.
It was so hilarious and awesome.
We can hear the whole cinema laughing throughout the whole time.
After that, we go take some funny pictures.

Yay!
Stage one of commercial cookery is finally over.
And I’m having holidays for 3 weeks.
There are pictures taken during that time and I’m going to post it up when i get the pictures from my friend.
I’m staying in Melbourne and try to find work. xD

It was a plan to con you guys.
Really sorry to those people who putting high hope to see us and those mad at us.

Today meet up with my grandaunt to get some clothes and my hard drive!

My new hard drive. I bought it from Boon Siong.
He is selling all computer stuff. Visit his blog by clicking his name.

After that, went to visitor centre to accompany my grandaunt to see where to go during her trip here.
My grandaunt and her friend decided to go Great Ocean Road for 3 days 2 nights and call me to tag along.
Since I’m quite free and got nothing to do during holiday, so I just accompany them.
The trip costs around $395 per person.
I will be going on 12 to 14 July. :)
After finish booking all the stuff, we went Lygon Street to have our lunch.
We had pizza at Papa Gino’s restaurant and is a nice place to eat.

Then we all head to shop some grocery.
I bought my stuff too and my grandaunt insisted to pay.
After that, we spilt and will meet up before the trip.
My grandaunt and her friends are going to New Zealand tomorrow.
So envy of them. :(

Came back home, check my clothes and jeans.
Lastly explore my new hard drive.
Okay. Is time to play some dota and watch some show. xD

Well, not much people want to cook the dishes today.
I cook everything as I want learn to taste it.
The menus today are Calf’s liver, lamb kidney, lamb brains and lamb sweetbreads.

O ya, happy news. I got a place in the competition.
So I will be one of the contestants. Yayness!

After class, I reach back home and on my laptop.
Guess what, my laptop suddenly merajuk at me.
The whole screen went black.
Tried to shut down and turn on again for few times but it doesn’t seem working.
Let it run with white screen for while then turn on again for last time.
Finally it worked!
I know there something wrong with the video card.
I wanted to see whether it happens again before I call DELL.
Then I was doing stuff half way. Screen went blank again. I was like WTF?
Then the screen came back alive.
After a while, poof, the laptop restarted with white screen. Argh!
The screen rapidly happens again until I so fed up and rang out DELL.
They will send technician next week to replace new video card. Thanks god I still got warranty.
I went to friend’s house to do work.
The problem occurred for once then the laptop being good till now. Alleluya!
Thank goodness it didn’t make any problem.
If not, I won’t able to finish up my assignments which due tomorrow.

Next week will be our last week of stage one. Wohoooo!!

Today i woke up late again for my tutorial.

Friend called me around 8.30am and my class at 9am.

So i basically rushing like mad and reach campus in 10 minutes.

I was basically running and sweating.

Went to library to print out my assignment and head to class.

End up, the class lasted one hour when it supposed to go for 2 hours.

Never mind.

So after that, went library to do my work plan for beef cooking tomorrow.

Then head to lecture and the lecture today were all about cheese.

All are about the history of cheese, How to make cheese, and the texture.

Today I was able to try 3 types of cheese which are brie, cheddar, and blue cheese.

I will put the summary about all three at bottom. :D

Brie

Brie is a soft cows' cheese named after Brie, the French province in which it originated (roughly corresponding to the modern département of Seine-et-Marne). It is pale in colour with a slight greyish tinge under crusty white mould; very soft and savoury with a hint of ammonia. The white mouldy rind is edible, and is not intended to be separated from the cheese during consumption.

The region in France that gave its name to this cheese (Brie) is, in the French language, feminine: La Brie, but French products take the gender of their general category; in this case cheese (Le fromage) is masculine, and so Brie is also masculine, Le Brie.

According to legend, during the 8th century, Charlemagne had his first taste of Brie cheese, and immediately fell in love with it.

Cheddar

Cheddar cheese is a fairly hard, pale yellow to orange, sharp-tasting cheese originating from the English village of Cheddar, in Somerset. ^[1] Cheddar cheese is the most popular cheese in the United Kingdom, accounting for just over 50% of the country's £1.9 billion annual cheese market.^[2] Although Cheddar cheese is originally English, it is also widely produced in other countries, including Ireland, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada.

Blue cheese

Danish Blue cheese, also known as Danablu if it is made in Denmark, is a light, blue-veined cheese. This semi-soft creamery cheese is typically drum or block shaped and has a white to yellowish, slightly moist, edible rind. Made from cow's milk, it has a fat content of 25-30% (50-60% in dry matter) and is aged for eight to twelve weeks.

Before aging, rods are used to pierce the formed curds to distribute the mould (Penicillium roqueforti) evenly through the cheese. The holes can still be seen when the finished wheel is cut open.

Danish Blue was invented early in the 20th century by a Danish cheese maker named Marius Boel with the intention of emulating a Roquefort style cheese. Danish Blue has a milder flavour characterised by a sharp, salty taste.

Danish Blue is often served crumbled on salads or as a dessert cheese with fruit.

This time she smart and took out the price tag.

Today got practical test about meat cookery.
Today the test is about grilled lamb cutlets, roasted 2 points lamb and sweet and sour pork.
Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures for the first two food that done because I totally forgot about it.
I was too into cooking, not taking pictures.
Then I remember that I need to take pictures.
So I took sweet and sour pork pictures.

Is better than last time right? :D

After cooking, had demo for next meat cooking on Thursday.
So there won’t have any foods pictures till Thursday.

Hygiene class is about revision for next week closed book test.
We had sort of team play where each team give 3 hardest question and other team have to answer.
We got two good question and we won. Buahaha.

After a long tiring day, it was time to go back.
The weather was so cold but is nice.
Past few days been raining and is getting colder. Wee~!!

I have a haircut later on when on the way back.
My previous hair was so long and all my friends called me ‘apek’!
This is my new hairstyle.

Thursday, went for practical class.
My group exchanges class with another group because they making ice-cream and they need our kitchen.
So we had a new building kitchen but not the best tho.
The lesson for day is cutting lamb leg.
The leg so big and need 4 people as a team to cut it.
It took quite a while as it so hard.
Although I’m chicken cutting pro, but still is way different experiences.
I manage to put my knowledge while doing it.

Hmm. Today is re-enrolment for Stage 1 cookery to Stage 2 from 9am to 12pm.

We thought going to be long the re-enrolment and going to take our new timetables.

I thought us going at 9am but then my friends woke up late.

So have to wait till they take shower and call me to go to their place.

At 9am, Donny rang me and i walk to their places.

Michael and Alga was there.

So we walked around 20 minutes to reach campus.

I walked everyday to campus for class so biasa already.

Reached there, Kit was outside smoking.

He told us that is so pointless going to campus for the re-enrolment.

We asked why and guess what, it only took him half minutes to finish enrol. =.=

We were like ‘WTF’. Damn pointless waking up early for this.

We went to E122 where we suppose to re-enrol.

We just have to give our group name, that’s all.

Have to pay fees by 27 Jun, the amount is like ~~RM7800~~ $7800. Holy!

What the hell right.

After finish, we drank free coffee and chit-chatted for while.

Then we all went to library to get the lecture notes to study for tomorrow test because website being pain in ass for not letting us log in.

After lepaking around library, we all went to eat brunch at Es Teller77, Indo food.

Walk around city for while after eating then ciao home.

Stay at home until now and is so boring.

I am supposed to study for tomorrow test but I being lazy.

There got like 4 assignment waiting for me to complete. Issh.

Tak ada mood do assignment now. Maybe I will burn midnight oil.

Today stay at home almost the whole day until dinner time.
Today my duty is to clean bathroom.
Well, it took me an hour because I’m staying with 2 girls.
So got their hairs to clean and bathroom quite dirty also.
Haha. Don’t really mind tho since is my job.
So after finish cleaning, took shower then sit in front of computer till dinner time.
Later on, friends call me to go some place ~~(forgot the name)~~ for dinner but closed.
Then my friend ~~driver~~ wanted to eat vegetarian food.
So we all go till Box Hill to eat at Vege Hut.
Frankly speaking, I don’t really like vegetarian food but convinced by friends to try.
So I tried the food at there and it really nice and the foods taste like real meat and seafood.
No regrets eating there.
Whoever in Melbourne, seriously need to try that place.
As a chef, I guarantee satisfaction. Haha.

Today I cooked pork.
All about porksss!
The menus are sweet and sour pork, spare ribs (Australian and American ribs) and pork medallion.
The foods are so yummy.
I like sweet and sour pork and spare ribs the most.
So juicy and yummy.

Today had practical test based on pastry.
The test includes éclairs, profiteroles, quiche lorraine and bread rolls.
Took a lot of energy this test, my arms were sore later on.
Manage to take one pictures only as was rushing through the whole time.
I was in the bad mood but fine later on. xD
I didn’t get good grades as no enough time and all.
My bread rolls could have gotten an A but the chef say too small and all, so I only get C.

Later on waiting for theory class, my friend jus tied my hair for fun of it.
Look some retard just out from TANJUNG RAMBUTAN.

Yesterday my friends and I went to IKEA by car.
They wanted to buy furniture for the new apartment.
I tag along because I haven’t been before and I got nothing to do.
That pretty a lot of nice stuff and reasonable price.
I will go there again after I move to my new place on July.
I took a few photos tho.

After bought stuff in IKEA, we went back and set up stuff.
I being a lazy bum and my friend don’t need help to set up, I just lie down and watch movie.
After finished all set up, we went eat Thai food at Lygon Street.

Today went Bridge Road to accompany my friends to shop around.
Before that, was rotting at my friend’s house for few hours watch Grey Anatomy.
I didn’t buy anything because I’m broke.
After shop for few hours, we went eat dinner at Nelayan, Glenferrie.
Basically today just like that.

This few days, my chest pain is becoming worse and worse.
And that lead to coughing.
I couldn’t stop coughing, all because there like air in my chest keep stuck.
I hope it won’t last long.

I change my skins as a lot people complain that can’t see anything.

The gateaux took me around 3 hours to finish it.

On last Wednesday, our class went to Lt Lonsdale Street to look for food precinct.

We have to do class activity about restaurant and all.

After finish, we still got time and go have breakfast.

Today cooking is about yeast products.

If u think is easy, think again.

We learn to make bread rolls, ficaccia, sweet pizza and savoury pizza.

Making the dough was pretty hard as must be smooth and prefect.

I took quite a few pictures silently. xD

Savoury pizza was a bit too long in the oven but it still tastes good.

I am suppose to do my assignment which due tomorrow.
I was so blur and I thought the due date is next week until my friend told me is tomorrow.
I haven’t even started it and I got like 1000 words to type.
I’m getting mixed up with the date and don’t know what going on now.
Anyway I’m off to do my work.

Tuesday

Hey guys. Well, I finally work but that for only one day.

I was working as volunteer in Restaurant 08 at Food and Wine Festival at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

I start work at around 8.30am till 6.45pm.

There is break between tho.

Basically my jobs just collect dirty wine glass around festival spot, usher at cafe live entrance and clean up the wine glass at the end of the show.

Well, this kind of job isn’t what I should be doing but I will just take it as experience, a good one.

I learnt a lot of stuff while the few talks in cafe live was on going.

During break, ate tiny lunch and explore around the stall n tried some food. Quite nice tho.

Had a really tiring day yesterday but fun!

Wooo! Today I had such a tiring day.

I couldn’t sleep well last night tho, slept early but keep on wake up at 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Couldn’t bare it anymore, I decided to wake up at 6.

Took a shower and make breakfast.

Sit in front of the com until friends call me to go to their place.

Was a bit of drizzling this morning, luckily I got my hood on until it stop.

After whole day of tutorial n lectures at 1.30, went to buy groceries to cook.

My friend (Alga) wanted to cook Indonesian style of mee goreng.

After buying in 2 places, we got like 20++ bags to carry and walk.

After dropping stuff at her house, I came back n take my knife ~~to kill people~~.

I am in charge of cutting vegetables and prepare noodle. >.<

My other friend (Olivia) got help after she took nap. LOL

We finished cooking after 2 hours. Damn hungry and starving.
